- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit being
distinct personalities with distinct roles, but one God. This one
God is creator of the universe.
- Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Savior and the Son
of God, who was born of a virgin birth, lived a sinless life, died
on a cross,
and was raised from the grave and that He will return in victory
as our Lord!
- Our salvation comes only through Jesus Christ; it cannot
be earned and is a gift from God.
- Faith in Jesus has requirements, repentance from sin,
proclamation of belief in Christ, baptism by immersion, and a commitment
to
His body, the Church.
- Everyone who accepts Christ has the indwelling presence
of the Holy Spirit who acts as comforter, guide and intercessor to
the
Father.
- The Bible is the divinely inspired word of God in its
entirety, and is the guide for all of life.
-
The church as the body of Christ, is the extension of Jesus Christ’s
character, attitude, and behavior in the world today.
-
God gives gifts to both men and women through the Holy Spirit for
the building up of the Church’s ministries
To perform the functions of the Christian Church, including without
limitation, to disseminate, teach and preach the Gospel and teachings
of Jesus Church, the Good News of Jesus’ salvation to a lost world,
and the power of the Holy Spirit; to encourage and aid the growth, nurture,
and spread of the Christian religion; and to render Christian service,
both material and spiritual to the sick, the aged, the homeless and
the needy.
